Local Tip

The best things in life are free, and my local tip is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and uplift your soul – when in Port Macquarie, an activity not to be missed is the Coastal Walk. In its entirety, the walk is around 10km but can always be done in sections. Meander along the coastline through bush, along beaches and take in some small coves not able to be reached otherwise. A must do when visiting, and during whale season it is pretty much a lock that you will see whales.
