Rydges Auckland is an urban oasis in the heart of Auckland City; a 267 room contemporary 4.5 star hotel located just a short stroll away from the Sky Tower, Viaduct Harbour and central shopping district.
Aloft Rydges Auckland, The Rooftop is a spellbinding sky-high escape, showcasing a visual symphony of the city’s twinkling harbour and the grand Harbour Bridge. Auckland’s only dedicated rooftop event venue, it’s the ultimate stage for a medley of vibrant events, from headlining acts by stars like Rudimental and Joel Corry to ritzy weddings, bedazzling corporate fiestas, epic birthday blowouts, and snazzy celebrations of life’s big moments. This is where up to 130 guests come to schmooze, groove, and revel in the heights of joy.

And the wonder keeps rolling! Thanks to its savvy partially retractable roof, The Rooftop brings the Sky Tower so close, it’s like you could high-five it. Open to the sky’s whims, this venue knows how to party come rain or shine. If the clouds decide to join the party, no worries! Our Plan B will see us taking the fun inside to one of our conference spaces, and our team is jazzed to flip the script, ensuring your event stays lit, regardless of the weather. In this realm, the fun never stops!
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Please note the Rooftop Terrace in not an all-weather purpose venue and while we will do our best to relocate your event to an indoor private function room in the event of inclement weather, we cannot guarantee availability. Should you wish to reserve an indoor private function room as a back-up venue, a room hire fee will apply.
Please note that our standard hotel furniture is provided for the Rooftop Terrace events at no additional cost. If you would like to upgrade to the same furniture featured in the Rooftop Terrace images (supplied by Darby & Grey), please contact our team for a quote on furniture hire.
