If you’re seeking to stay a little closer to shore, Gunnamatta Bay located off the Port Hacking, is best for shore-casting. Local tip: the best fishing spot is around/off the bath (just outside the nets) because fish are attracted to the nets of the baths and the boats moored in the area – plenty of taylor, whiting and flathead.
