The City of Kalgoorlie Boulder History and Heritage Unit run free guided tours of the Kalgoorlie Town Hall at 1:30pm on Wednesdays (excluding public holidays), allowing visitors to experience the magnificent municipal edifice for themselves.

The tour guides take participants on a historic journey through major parts of the building, including the luxurious dress circle, vast main hall and grand council chambers that are usually closed to the public. The tour reveals the story of Australia’s richest gold mining town through the intertwined history of the Kalgoorlie Town Hall and discloses some fascinating tales associated with its unique past and the lives of those who have occupied it’s many rooms. A lift is available to allow access to the first floor of the building if required.
