Experience the beauty of New England’s Wollomombi Falls. Situated in the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, the Wollomombi Falls are approximately 40 kilometres east of Armidale and around a 30 minute drive from the Powerhouse Hotel Armidale by Rydges.

The waterfall is one of the tallest in Australia and cascades 220 metres over the cliffs down to the valley below after heavy rain. The park features a nearby picnic area as well, which is a great spot to take the entire family. You can also head over to the lookout spot for unforgettable views of New South Wales’ tallest waterfall.

If you’re after a little more adventure, there are plenty of walks in the park that provide good access to see the waterfall. Home to some incredible scenery and views, you can also pitch your tent at the Wollomombi campground and spend the night in the beautiful New England wilderness.
