Situated 21kms south-east of downtown Darwin, our Palmerston hotel is close to all areas of Darwin and a great entry point to experience the many Top End destinations. Close proximity to main roads gives fast access west (Darwin, Northern Suburbs, Darwin Airport, bay areas and port facilities) and east (Top End, southwards), and makes the hotel easy to find and reach.
Just 20 minutes drive from Darwin’s CBD and Darwin Airport (Domestic and International), and within easy reach of the city’s many tourist attractions and business districts, as well as the major institutional, base and port facilities, plus mining and construction projects in the Darwin Harbour region.
Rydges Palmerston – Darwin lies at the gateway to the exceptional natural beauty and unique biodiversity of the Top End, just 20 mins from rural Howard Springs on the way to Pine Creek, Litchfield National Park, Katherine, Arnhem Land and World Heritage listed Kakadu.
Regular bus services to all suburbs within the Darwin municipality operate from our Palmerston hotel, as well as taxis and excellent bicycle paths.
Getting to the Northern Territory is easy, with Darwin only a three to four hour flight from most Australian capital cities, with many international routes to neighbouring Asian countries. Directions
