Our collection contains more than 1.6 million items, comprising 334,000 audio recordings, 442,000 moving image works and 870,000 associated documents and artefacts of cultural significance.

There are many ways to access the national audiovisual collections, including online, at NFSA headquarters in Canberra and through national access centres, where you can research the collections, listen to or view items, request copies or borrow films for screening.
